Ecomondo 2018: Agreement signed with the project partners

Rimini – The opening of Ecomondo was marked by a moment entirely devoted to the Fra’ Soleproject. Immediately following the official opening of the 2018 edition by the Minister for the Environment Sergio Costa, at 10.30 a.m., the project was presented on the main stage of the South Hall in Rimini Exhibition Centre. Speeches were given by the promoters and the main partner of the project: Brother Mauro Gambetti (Custodian Father of the Sacred Convent), Walter Ganapini (General Manager of ARPA Umbria), Giuseppe Lanzi (Sole Director of Sisifo srl) and Andrea di Stefano (Special Projects Manager for Novamont).

The various speakers discussed, on the one hand, the progress of the project so far, and on the other, the wider context of environmental and climatic crisis with regard to which the project seeks to offer its experience with a view to promoting good practices and a new ecological conscience, taking inspiration from the Encyclical Laudato si’ by Pope Francis.

The project coordinator, Giuseppe Lanzi, went on to invite the individual project partners onto the stage to present themselves and explain the reasons that led them to join the project and to sign the pertinent partnership agreement with Fra’ Mauro Gambetti.

Speeches were given by: Alessandra Astolfi di Italian Exhibition Group – Ecomondo, Alessandro Canovai and Massimo Centemero of CIC – Consorzio Italiano Compostatori, Stefano Stellini of CiAl – Consorzio Imballaggi Alluminio, Michele Sartori and Luca Torresan of Sartori Ambiente Group, Luca Bianconi of Polycart, Armido Marana and Antonio Munarini of Ecozema, Francesco Premi and Alberto Sperotto of Ecocomunicazione, Massimilliano Muggianu of Sarvex and Nazzareno Gabrielli forBanca Etica Group (Banca Popolare Etica, Etica SGR, Fondazione Finanza Etica and Valori.it).
